I was challenged to create a spot that honored veterans, and encouraged people to nominate a veteran in their life to win a paid trip to the Armed Forces Bowl. I had one clear ask: It should give goosebumps.

I worked closely with veterans on the Vortex staff to ensure all the details, from the uniforms to the way hats are handled, were true to life.
